Hawk (SM5AQD) and I are working to activate Mellish Reef this coming November. Currently working to obtain landing rights from the appropriate government agencies. We have also applied for a VK9M callsign. The team consists of 8 operators and 4 stations. At least half the operators will be from Europe, and the rest from North America. We are going to be operating on the following bands: 10m through 160m. Due to current propagation forecasts, we are paying particular attention to operating on the lower bands (20m-160m). Modes of operation will be CW/SSB/RTTY. |
