| EA7KW, Jose, has been invited by the Andorran Amateur Radio League "Unio de
Radioaficionats Andorrans" (URA) to operate as C37NL from a brand new shack on a
hilltop near La Rabassa. (This is located in the famous amusement park
"Naturlandia", where the 5.3 km world record length helter-skelter "Turbotronc"
slides down the slope.) Jose will also give the members of the URA a lecture on
six meter propagation and operating tips on Tuesday the 9th. URA's operators
may occasionally join in and operate the station. In spite of the challenging
mountainous country the path to EU and NA is almost clear for sporadic E

DXpedition into the Nagorno Karabakh area (4J/4K) between May 28th and June
1st. The team will use the callsigns 4K3K and 4J0K. The DXpedition is timed
to be an entry in the CQWW WPX CW Contest (May 30-31st). Please be aware that
the mentioned callsigns are only legal to operate in the assigned Nagorno
Karabakh area. No other callsigns are issued for the named territory by the

| Paul, A35RK, informs OPDX that Dave, A35KL, has been active on 80-15 meters with a couple of openings to Europe occurring on
both 30 and 20 meters between 0600-0830z.
Dave has 750+ QSOs in the log so far.
On May 1st, Dave and Paul put up a G5RV antenna and worked W1MK on 80m CW at 0943z. Paul states that 40 meters appears to be open to North America at that time, but there have been very few takers on that band.
He adds, "20 and 30 meters have been the 'money bands'." Dave will be departing Vava'u (OC-064) on May 5th, at which time Paul, A35RK, will
become active using the G5RV. Paul will be there until June 1st, and possibly a bit longer signing A35RK/p. QSL A35RK/p via W7TSQ or via LoTW.
Remember to QSL A35KL via W6ZL (w/SASE or IRC, or via LoTW).
